Problem: Pupils waste a lot of time with computers
Solution: Arrange training courses for both teachers and pupils to teach how to use computers for educational purposes.
Project objective: to find out the ways how to use computers sensibly

Project description:
  Pupils conducted a survey and questioned approximately 270 pupils how much time they spend with computer and what is their main purpose, then they calculated the results and created diagrams showing, that the worst situation is in the VIII and X grades, where majority of pupils spend more than 2 hours (some of them 5-6 hours) at a computer and their main purpose is chatting with friends (social network). Then we had a meeting with Josh Kurzweil, English language teacher trainer, who explained us good ways of using computer and introduced some really interesting websites to use computer for educational purposes. Then we had debates about advantages and disadvantages of computers and assessed it according to assessment rubrics. And finally we had a summarizing presentation about our project. Everything was so interesting, because the problem is global and really meets pupils' needs and interests.
